"Andy Warhol: You're in!" by Maurice Roucel for Comme des Garçons (2017) is a classic cologne (aldehydes, citrus fruits, spices, flowers, musky notes). thanks to the infinite Mastery of Roucel, it feels crystal clear, extremely refined, endowed with magnificent essentiality.But it also shows an originality that struck me a lot: it features an indefinable metallic quality, as artificial as the smiles of the soubrette presenting the Superfamous on duty. It sounds recognizable, almost banal in its simplicity, Yet, Yet, it is weirdly original.The short pyramid reveals the clarity of intention with which Roucel wins me over every time.The 'hook' is Warhol's artwork "you're in!", Which Warhol created in 1967.  The chosen subject is pop. Very poor. The ultimate in pop, as pop as a bottle of Coca-Cola (or a bottle of cologne, in our case) can be. Everyone knows them, there is no need to explain them.
